ZABBIX Win32 agent already works under Windows 2003.

I Tryed it on one of our 2003 servers and it wouldn't start. It gave a problem
like it took to long to start.

Please advice, Thanks

Please, search forums (both zabbix.com and Sourceforge). Issues with 2003 were discussed several times.

Check if port 10000 is not taken by some other software (Veritas Backup?).

Somehow Zabbix Agent is slow when it is configured to start automatically at startup. Most of the time Windows will complain that it stops responding. But finally it will start and running normally. But somehow the startup is not slow at all if it is manually started from the Service applet.

I'm seeing the exact same result on virtually any Windows 2000/2003 server (I've got 30 or so servers running).

P.s. another software package running at port 10000: Documentum Docbroker service.

I get this exact same behavior, windows 2000, 2003, server, advanced server, etc :)
