glibc problem

I changed zabbix configuration by adding some items. Suddenly the server did not receive data from clients.

I kill all server processes and delete the zabbix_server.pid file, and run the server again. With Debug level 4 I got the following message:
*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x0938e058 ***

When I do a "ps aux | grep zabbix" I see, that no zabbix pid matches the zabbix_server.pid in /tmp.

I think this has nothing to do with zabbix, but the problem is my glibc? I run Fedora Core 3. Any ideas?

I did "rpm -U glibc-2.3.3-74.i386.rpm" to update glibc. When I did "ps aux | grep zabbix" again, after restarting zabbix_server I saw:
zabbix 24564 2.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 13:28 0:00 [zabbix_server] <defunct>
