Firstly, a big thanks for this wonderful application.

I wish to ask you something about an error message I meet for ipmi implementation.
I installed recently a server running the last version of zabbix (1.8.2) and I tried to add an IPMI supervision for several DELL server of my company.
I followed that howto : http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/monitor/ipmi/dell and when I try this command : /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf -t ambtemp
Here the error message I meet :
/etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf: line 231: Ambient Temp: command not found
/etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf: line 232: FAN 1 RPM: command not found

I have configured that two lines in my zabbix_agentd.conf (in /etc/zabbix)
UserParameter=server1.ambtemp,/etc/zabbix/server1.pl 'Ambient Temp'
UserParameter=server1.fan1,/etc/zabbix/server1.pl 'FAN 1 RPM'
And I restarted the zabbix agent process

подскажите пожалуйста, какие параметры надо указывать в создание в настройке элемента данных(item). для мониторинга windows-логов ?
Раньше обходилось eventlog[System]
А сейчас не работает,и в подсказчике говориться что надо ещё указывать доп.параметры.
eventlog[logtype,<pattern>,<severity>,<source>,<eventid>,<m axlines>]

Где можно посмотреть пример? или приведите его пожалуйста сами

We are evaluating ZABBIX 1.6.5 with other open source products for implementation in production. ZABBIX indicates that they have agents for all operating systems. I am looking for a precompiled version for HPUX 11.23 PA-RISC. Is one available? We tried to compile from source and encounter all kinds of errors. We need to compile other flavors of UNIX (i.e. AIX, SCO, etc.). Our hope is that the compiles go smooth. If not, ZABBIX may no longer be considered a contender in our evaluation. I see potential with the product but since your technology focuses on an agent solution, not having a way to easily get precompiled versions of the agent makes it difficult to support in production. If your SNMP support was enhanced, we may be able to opt to use it if an agent was not available.

Hi Alexei, thanks for a great product.

I just have one questions, do you have any install docs for getting zabbix to work with a remote oracle server, the oracle server is not on the same server as zabbix.

I have been bashing my head against install libsqlora8, but it seems to want to have a full version of oracle installed on the local machine to work, is this correct.

Is there any instruction that your team have used to get this working, all seems very quiet on the forums about it.
