Question ESX vSphere

HY There

I have a question about monitoring ESX. in version 3.5 this worked:

SNMP v2 OID: VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB::vmGuestOS.0

while .0 was the index. With the new vSphere i have the error Message :
OID [VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB::vmGuestOS] value has unknown type [0x81]

When I try to do this with an dynamic Index
VMWARE-RESOURCES-MIB::memAvail["index","VMWARE-RESOURCES-MIB::memAvail","memAvail"]

I recived an error message like this:
Cannot find index [VMWARE-VMINFO-MIB] of the OID

Have anyone expirience about this topic? Is there any template to do this?

Thanks a lot for help

Hi. Were you trying to import MIBs here? You might also want to try to unload VMWARE-ROOT-MIB.mib gere.
