Thomas got his first taste of databases with “DB2” on “SGI irix” at the tender age of 10. He has focused on relational databases such as “Microsoft SQL Server”, \PostgreSQL\ and “MySQL/MariaDB” for over 17 years. His experience in the design of databases and associated performance optimization provides the ideal basis for Zabbix with its database back-end. He is also a professional in Windows environments, Linux and networking.


Thomas has held database training courses for more than 15 years; he also works as a database consultant. He is a Zabbix Certified Professional and a Zabbix Certified Trainer, the first in Zabbix 4.0 since October 2018. He delivers training in German and English.
