Linuxwochen The Linuxwochen is an event targeted at a wide audience in IT, like experienced users and beginners, developers and administrators, companies and government institutions. It will feature talks, presentations and workshops, and a trade show as well. The event will take place at the FH Technicum Wien and will run for 3 days, on 2nd–4th of May, 2013. One of the most active Zabbix community members, Volker Fröhlich from Medical University of Vienna, is giving a talk about Zabbix at Linuxwochen Wien 2013 on the 2nd of May. The talk called “Monitoring Your IT Infrastructure with Zabbix” explains the basic architecture and concepts and capabilities from an admin's view. It introduces terminology and gives an overview of Zabbix capabilities. Start to Monitor Secure IT, a Zabbix Certified Partner, is organizing a seminar called "Start to Monitor", which will take place in Oostkamp, Belgium on the 26th of April, 2013. At the "Start to Monitor" seminar specialists from Secure IT will present the new monitoring system of their choice – Zabbix. The seminar is intended for IT technicians, administrators, and IT managers. During the interactive session presenters will share their experience of setting up a Zabbix monitoring system in an infrastructure and will answer all the questions on why it is the best solution to choose. Open Source Conference 2013 Tokyo/Spring Open Source Conference 2013 Tokyo/Spring in one of the largest conferences in Asia fully dedicated to the open source products and related services. It gathers representatives of the largest companies in the industry who meet to share the knowledge, the experience and new ideas on the associated topic. Zabbix Japan LLC will have a booth at the conference where representative specialists will be ready to answer all the questions and provide full information on services provided in Japan and Asia by Zabbix SIA and Zabbix Japan LLC.
