This document contains the release notes for ZABBIX version 1.1beta10. The following sections describe the release in detail and provide late-breaking or other information that supplements the main documentation.
The release fixes several critical and many other issues and introduces some additional functionality.
This is an experimental feature. So please do not use it for any serious work. The functionality will
be finalised in next release.
Internal MySQL access routines have been rewritten to get rid of performance heavy
MySQL calls.
ZABBIX 1.1beta9 didn't handle timeout situations correclty. The algorithm has been improved for
better flexibility and performance.
New parameters for ZABBIX server: UnreachableDelay, UnreachablePeriod, UnavailableDelay.
New reports: "Most Busy Triggers Top 100", "Notification Report".
Item value having this unit will be automatically translated to human readable timestamp.
A set of applications can be defined for a host. An item may belong to one or more applications.
Performance and memory usage of PHP scripts significantly improved.
Simple triggers will be displayed on simple graphs and optionally on user-defined graphs.
Working time can be configured and displayed on graphs.
This will greatly simplify configuration of items.

Note that agents are available pre-compiled from www.zabbix.com/download.php. The agents are compatible with ZABBIX v1.0 and
all releases in 1.1 series.
ZABBIX 1.1beta10 is BETA software, therefore we cannot recommend it for immediate use in production. Although tested throughout our release cycle, this release introduces many changes and does not have the benefit of use in production environments that ZABBIX v1.0 has and therefore should be treated with the same level of caution as a new product.
