Hello + small install idea

Just wanted to say Hello and thank you for the software. I had been thinking of installing your package but had something in place that handled some of the functions and just didn't have time. Well My server just had a hard drive crash and I had to do a fresh install. While I was at it I decided to try and make lemonaid from this lemon :) One of things I decided to do was upgrade a lot of my installed software, this gave me the opportunity to to install your package. I'm just starting to get a feel for what it can do, and see it as a powerfull new assistant.

While I had no major problems doing the install. I did hit one small problem that from looking at the sf forums have hit at least a few others. The missing mysql.h msg during the configure. Maybe you could update the software requirements section to include the MySQL devel package in addition to the base MySQL package itself.

Again, Thanks for the package and I'm looking forward to version 1.1 The improvements look impressive.

Ummm ... My mistake. I just checked again and it was mentioned in the PDF file also. I probably missed because it was after the PostgreSql entry and since I was staying with MySQL I didn't look to close at anything that looked to be part of the Postgres install. I just jumped straight to the PHP entry.

I've got the data collection and basic performance reporting going, now I just have to wrap myself around setting up the alerts and triggers to e-mail my pager when non-standard events happen.
