polling intervals

Question?
I have web scenario for web page testing, I have there update interval 60 sec and 30 sec timeout for scenario step.
When trigger that is checking web page availability, see that this web page is not available, is he changing polling intervals, or next cheek will be again in 60 + 30 sec?

if you have interval of 60 and timeout of 30, next check will simply be started 60 seconds after the previous was started, or 30 seconds after timeout period for the previous would end
