wondering whether anybody would be interested in some default backgrounds in zabbix setup - especially in the appliance.

if you would like to see some default backgrounds, what would those be ?
what should it display, what style, what dimensions ?

please note that if any map images would be used, they would have to be properly licensed - so that would most likely be data from openstreetmap, rendered in a nice way.

here's a possible default map background. this is osm render from cloudmade with copyright notice in the lower right corner. dimensions are 580x735.
opinions ? zoom too low/too high ? detail too much/too little ? dimensions too small/too large ?

edit : note that here the image is downscaled, actual dimensions would be as stated above.

I think, that some basic map pack can by in default instalation. You can hardly cover all countries, but some location for start - like EU, USA, RUS ...why not?
If nothing else, this could make zabbix more new-basic-user friendly.

yeah, but i was hoping for some discussion regarding dimensions & detail, because once the images are there, it would be hard/impossible to change them, as somebody might have used the previous version of the image.
