Having to write triggers for servers over and over that are the same (except for the hostname) is quite a drag. If there was a way to link the Items template to a Trigger template (or generate one automatically when a type template is created for Items) would be great. Perhaps even global triggers?

This feature is already there. Read my post regarding triggers in b5 for hints.
