This may have already been fixed in beta5 but i just noticed that the Items I created in the frontend have default values set for snmp_oid and snmp_community (interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets.1 and public respectively)
I don't think this was intended as the defaults aren't set in the database (so they must be filtering through from the frontend code somewhere)... and removing these would save a lot of database space...
Just an optimizing thought.
