I have been working with Zabbix 1.0 and 1.1 Beta 7, just trying to get it to run an external script that echoes $1,$2,$3 to a file. The only time this has worked is when I take the agetnts down and I get "unreachable" messages.
If I change a Trigger to look for 0 instead of 1 (FTP Server for Example), I see an entry in the Triggers tab for FTP Server being down, but no Action/Alert was done.
I've beat my head on this and am looking for any advice.
My OS is CENTOS 4.2, 512mb RAM running inside of VMWARE.
