dear alex & list,

back from holiday \o/ i just found time to install a developement zabbix installation with latest (*todays*) code from cvs.
after altering and inserting updtes in my zabbix backupdb from current productive installation, and configureing zabbix-devel for it, i used to be able to login and most things seems to work fine but deleting of hosts isnt working.
if i mark an host and press delete i am redirected to an gray page. addressbar is showing : http://mon-devel.mydomain.de/hosts.php?hostid=20094&host=test&newgroup=&useip=on&ip=xx.xx.xx.xx&port=10000&status=1&host_templateid=0&register=delete#form
values are fine but nothing happens and after reloading hosts.php the deleted host is still present and not marked as DELETED.
Next issue, systemaps aint display any map. i although deleted my existing map and tried to add a new one but:
ERROR EXECUTING: insert into sysmaps (name, width, height, background) values ('asdf',800,600,'Europe'))[ERROR:Cannot add network map] Array ( )
is displayed right above the page title.
last issue for the moment, in the dbpatchfile you say load_file.. europe2.jpg but europe.jpg is the right filename.
it seems that this are all minor bugs and no need to hurry but thats my first experience with alpha 1.1 and i want you to know.
regards,
marc

marc,

did you use some special command for getting the 1.1 alpha? i've found no cvs branch for it, nor any other packaged 1.1alpha files, so what exactly did you use to grab the files?

Marc,

Thanks for your time spent on CVS code! However, please, do not expect to get working ZABBIX system if you're using the latest code.

It may work, it may not work.

I will not comment any issues reaised by using CVS code. It just makes no sense

hi alex,

i am not looking for a solution.. just posting issues wich aint working for the moment. you will know if they are currently under construction or if you simply forgot em ;) no need to answer, no need to solve or comment my experiences, but maybe you find an `unknown` issue and this would be a help.

cu soon :)
