Is there any date for the release of Zabbix 1.6?
I see that the following link contains an older date:

You know, every software project starts with some deadlines.
That was why that link was originally posted.

Any project should have an expected deadline date and projected release date.

Is there any update on this?

Yes! The developers are hard at work, and the deadline is updated almost daily! ;)

Yes, this will be supported.

I will try to prepare ZABBIX 1.6 status page as soon as I have some time.

Does that mean I'll be able to graph and alert based on generic SNMP index OID's?

Like I mentioned in this thread?

http://zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5726&highlight=snmp+index

P.S. I can't even begin to tell you how useful this would be.
