Help - trigger to fire after X mins ureachable

I'm having trouble setting up a trigger to fire after a system is unreachable for 5 minutes. My current trigger definition looks like this "{Template_Windows:status.min(300)}#0" with a dependency on "Server Template_Windows is unreachable". I want to have it setup to send me an email when it fires so that I'll notice and go kick the server back to life.

I can't seem to get it to show up. I have been testing it on a computer by just turning it off and watching the Dashboard but it never seems to show up the way I would have expected. My thinking was to watch the "status" of the server and when it is greater than "0" for 300+ seconds, activate the trigger. I wanted to have it depend on the "unreachable" trigger just in case the status would be anything but 0 or 2. Any advice on this or am I just doing it all wrong?

    Thanks,

    Jason

Found an older related post here http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9912

The final post seems to suggest that the "Host Status" item has some special nature and will not react or update as others. That doesn't make any sense to me as it is defined the same way as any other item. Does anybody know any different?

        I found a solution:
        ({host:status.last(0)}=2)&({host:status.nodata(180 )}=1)

If there is no change in 180 sec the trigger will be trigged. Thanks anyway.
