unless a reason is found quickly, i'd suggest finding which revision broke it - that should help with fixing

      You are right !

However, according to the logfile I posted here is, at least, a problem with
the ZABBIX-Agent internal performance counter for the CPU load.
This is not an item I configured but hardcoded somewhere.

If the crash is a result of this problem it will help fixing it.
The agent crashes with a read to address "0x0000000", so a typical null-pointer problem.

      Regards

      Norbert.

I am also experiencing the same issue, though the 1.4.4 agent still works...

What is the update on this? I have tried the 1.4.4 agent, but it reintroduces the "Interrupted system call" error on some host connections.

Does anyone know if this issue is being addressed?

Why not use the 1.4.6 agent.
Still available and it works fine for me.
I had to upgrade from 1.4.2 because of some problems with the
performance counters. If massively used they all went to "Unsupported"
after a certain amount of time. This seems to be solved in 1.4.6.

                Regards

                Norbert.

Do you know where I can get the 1.4.6 windows agent without having to download and compile the source?

See here for an installation package for Windows.

If you don't want to install it:

                    The file zabbix_agent-1.4.6-1_nsis-source.zip downloadable from
the site mentioned above includes the agents for 64-bit and 32-bit Windows.

                    HTH,

                    Norbert.
