First of all, Happy New Year!

Can you please describe the fix? What are the affected files? Do you have a "diff" that can be used for patching?

Is 1.6.2 compatible 100% with 1.6.1 frontend? I customized the frontend of my current 1.6.1 to add more functionaly based on my specific needs. (e.g. I changed the interface to fix a problem in reporting - http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11292, I added pdf reports generations, etc).

It will take a long time to update the fromtend in case 1.6.2 is not compatible with 1.6.1.

It depends how good it is! Anyway you may use any 1.6.1 front-end with 1.6.2 server, no problem. Actually all components of Zabbix are fully compatible within one major release, 1.6.x in our case.
