cannot acknowledge triggers

Hi,

We have migrated from zabbix 1.4.6 -> 1.6.1. Migration seems ok, except for pne thing : we cannot ack the triggers : the checkboxes are simply not there !

The checkbox to select all the triggers is there, as is the "bulk ack" button, but clicking this button gives us "No events to acknowledge".

We've tried this as guest / zabbix super admin : same problem.

Nothing in "Acknowledged"



In 1.4.6 i've "Acknowledged" ...



And button "Bulk Acknowledge" doesn't work...

There is filter, click on +, events->Show all. You acknowledge not trigger but event!

Oups ... i've not understand this new change in event screen; sorry.

But now i've two lines : one for the trigger and another for event;
when event Acknoledged it disepear: this is the new operation ?

Annoyance in the web interface

Hi

I agree with you about "Group: All" / "Host: All".

This is a major annoying thing in 1.6.
The settings are no longer remembered in the user interface.
If you move around and come back, some fix group and host is
shown and you can't change and keep it for the next visit of this
page.

I hope this will be fixed soon because the current situation is
not accepted by our monitoring staff - and by me, too.

i'm agree with you ..

I've find the solution; see here, you only need to patch one file:

but it's no a bug; it's a new implementation of this page.

I think the good practice is selecting a group "to_supervise"
(this group contain all host to supervise) and set the host to all (it's not possible in 1.4)

for acknowledge new screen :
There's no more acknoledge on triggers (no that's why ther's nothing on acknoledged)
but only on events (greys lines)


And settings was:

Click on Filter


Select 'Events' : 'Show problems unacknowleged (1 day)' and Click 'Filter'


Click another time on Filter to close it

It seems your setup is relatively small. For larger installations, default All/All becomes major annoying factor, it affects performance and usability as well. We discussed this recently, it is very likely that the setting will be made configurable as some point.

But why? When I go to the Triggers-Screen I want to see all active triggers, even if I monitor thousands of triggers. If all this triggers are on, the Zabbix-GUI is the smallest of my problems

Why not disable an ALL/ALL-Setting when viewing all triggers, even triggers in State OK?
