    Upgraded and zabbix server will not start CacheSize problem

    I have upgraded my main database and when i start the zabbix server I get

    21825:20091217:172845.548 Can't allocate shared memory of size 37748736 [Invalid argument]
    21825:20091217:172845.548 Can't allocate shared memory for configuration cache.

    If I set the CacheSize to 32M it tells me cache is too small, but anything over 32M and I get that memory error.

    Any help would be great on this one. I am going to download the latest snapshot and hope for the best.

      You might need to increase your semaphore memory in sysctl

      For example:
      The following lines should be appended to the "/etc/sysctl.conf" file.

      kernel.shmall = 2097152
      kernel.shmmax = 2147483648
      kernel.shmmni = 4096
      # semaphores: semmsl, semmns, semopm, semmni
      kernel.sem = 250 32000 100 128
