get events that lasted as least X hours

    Hi:

For our annual quality reports, we need to get the events (generated by a trigger) which has problem status during, as least, 24 hours..

    Did someone face something similar?

    Thank you

Hmm, you could do something out of excel or ireports

    See if this webpage helps

It is all about setting ireports up and writing a custom report for CPU but I can't see why you couldn't modifly this for your report and also you shoudl be able to use Excel with the Mysql ODBC drivers installed to you local computer

      Hi johnw230873:

thanks for you reply. I´m already using ireports for my reports. I think I didn´t explain very well my question.. sorry.

I was talking about, if there is any api method to get issues that lasted at least 24 hours, or any other "trick"..

Looking inside the frontend code for zabbix, and using the calculate_availability function for triggers, I discover that this function could do the trick.. so I created a new servlet for ireports, whichs basically does what calculate_availability in php frontend (but obviously in java language), but just to calculate "true time" (problem) events, how much they lasted and when they started.

      Thanks a lot anyway johnw230873
