Importing xml files and blank results

ZBX=1.8.10

I got a Varnish template and attempted to import it.
All I get is a blank screen/page as a result. I did let it run > 10m

Anyone know why?
Where can I check for the reason or cause of this?
the zabbix_server.log file doesn't say much.

And is there a c-li import utility?
Examples of usage if there is?
