    Mail aggregation

    Hi all.
When zabbix report a multiple problems it is occurs a lot of emails for same address from different triggers.
Is there a way to concatenate these messages for a particular period to one and not trashing a mailbox with unnecessary emails?
I known about calculated items and aggregated checks. Maybe it is possible to build a big trigger for whole items, but is very complex, inconvenient and not clear how pass exact fail reason in message.
    Any clue?

    No, there is not, BUT

    You should use trigger dependency.
When trigger "parent" will fire, trigger "child" will NOT. , so you have one trigger fired instead of 100 .

    ex.
When main router will fail, Zabbix will fire trigger that 'CISCO Site London has failed" and every device behind cisco. We don't want such situation, so we set dependency on devices behind main CISCO triggers.
Than: When the CISCO trigger will fire, Zabbix will NOT check the devicec behind CISCO.

    Bests,
    Grzegorz

      Very sad.

Trigger dependency works fine when you have single point of failure. But if there many distributed not related checks it not helps.
