Thanks, I'm glad others are finding it useful. And yeah, it would really suck for me if it wasn't included. Every release I'd have to work it in again. That happened with me on winventory and I eventually just gave up.

It will be included into 1.4 in one way or another, no doubt this time. Sorry the functionality wasn't implemented in 1.1.x, we had no good (performance-wise) design at that point.

The possibility to choose between monitoring with or without an agent is a must for the tool I'm looking for. With this patch Zabbix is still in the race. As a dba the database awareness of the Zabbix developers gives a good feeling.
