1.4.1 Unable to access Maps after Upgrade from 1.1.6

hi,

i perfom an upgrade of zabbix vom 1.1.6 to 1.4.1 on my development system.
everything looks ok, but i have only 2 maps of 53 accessible.

if i want to access one of the other 51 maps i get: [ERROR: No permissions !]

but where i can set permissions for maps?

This seems to be a common problem. Search the forums. I don't use maps, so I can't help ya.

Try setting in DB in table users to user Admin to column Type, value 3.

my admin has type 3.
i change another user to type 3 but nothing happens ... only 2 of 53 maps are availible.

Exactly the same problem.
I searched on forum, checked admin permission, tried to change some line in php without success.

I've only 3 graphs in screens section.
Any idea ??

Please check "User type" and read "5.16.2. User types" chapter of ZABBIX 1.4 manual.

Also you can try patch "no_def.patch" with "itsrv_no_def.patch" for v1.4.
If message "No permissions" changed to the "No *** defined", please resave elements (maps, screens) in configuration menu.

My install of 1.4.1 is a new install. I would get this when I try to view a screen that has a graph which I have updated something on the graph.

I simply go back to edit the screen, then choose the graph I want again and save it, voila, all is well.

Kind of annoying as I have some screens with 60 and 80 graphs...

I tried to patch zabbix without sucess.

You may download and try pre-1.4.2. Upgrade frontend only if concerned about pre-release software.
