We needed the ability to sync SNMP data fields into host profile (and extended profile).
The problem was solved using a template and the following external script.
Actually it is quite simple but I can imagine some others will face similar tasks.

Hello, everyone. I'm using zabbix appliance 1.8.4. The Inventory does not function at all. It is supposed to list my devices(hosts), but nothing is displayed actually. Did I miss any conifg or setup anywhere? Anyone come across this problem? Thanks in advance!
