I thought that by following the installation instructions the Zabbix Server would start automatically. It doesn't.

I'm puzzled by the startup sequence in Ubuntu 10.04 LTE Server.
I thought that by following the installation instructions the Zabbix Server would start automatically. It doesn't.

server restart causes unknown trigger states
This is similar to http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10212
When ever we restart our zabbix_server process we get thousands of "unknown" trigger states, followed by "OK" state.
Is there any way to prevent this flood when doing just a simple zabbix_server...
