check ftp file is changed

Hy,

i have an inquery for you guys we have an ftp server that we have acces to a specefic directory here is a file writen to multiple times a day.
I want to check by intervals if the file is changed eg the last 2 hours if not this should be reported in zabbix.

is this...

It would be nice if there was a web-like monitoring setup for FTP servers. Something that would let you monitor performance of "ls" and other commands on the target server.

I wanna try to check if an external FTP server is accepting my credentials so I can see if the FTP server is up. I found this thread: http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10741 and use the cURL commands from there and created an item in Zabbix, but always...
