How connect modem GSM to Zabbix

How connect modem GSM Huawei to Zabbix server (CentOS) which is on Hyper-V?

The modem is detected in Windows and Linux as cdrom.
The lsusb command does not show any result.
The modem is visible in the df -h as /dev/sr0 command.
The wvdial command shows: Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB1....

Dear all

I'm setting up Zabbix in our company.
Till now we used OPSView and for alerting we used a Multitech Multimodem (MTCBA-E1-EN2).
The Modem is connected via Ethernet.
On OPSView we had to use SMSTOOLS to send Messages to the Modem.

I've just update from zabbix 1.8.13 to 2.4.5 and zabbix can't communicate with modem now. In all previous z. versions it was ok for many years ago.

My modem: Siemens MC35i
/dev/ttyUSB0 (permissions 666)
