when i set up an Email type Media types, using STARTTLS with port 587 and then want to test it, the error is "Media type test failed : An authentication function returned an error"
in my configuration the username and password are correct.

I am trying to configure my office365 (exchange) account on Zabbix 3.0 but the following error was showing:
Login denied: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol
I did make a lot of changes on configuration, but the error continues.

Email user authentication
When user sign into his email account , he send his username and password to the SMTP server to check for him , can someone advise us what exactly happens and what kind of frames is being sent and received , and if there is any keywords that can help
