I monitor a bunch of hardware that's all dependent on a router. So I have every device's trigger for icmp ping unavailable dependent on the icmp ping unavailable trigger of the router.
This all works. But as soon as the router comes back online, all the other triggers still fire, causing a floodgate...

After upgrade to 2.0 triggers are not reflecting the real state
Before the upgrade I was running 1.8.5 with a bunch of offline hosts. The overview page was all gray, only the 'unreachable' triggers were red. That was the behavior I expected.
Then I upgraded to 2.0 and the 'unreachable' (agent.ping) triggers were all red as before but all the other triggers...Last edited by orkaa; 17-07-2012, 16:59. -
trigger dependency and host status
Hi all,
a simple question about dependencies.
Suppose we have two host, S1 and S2, both with triggers.
A trigger t1 of S1 is dependent on a trigger t2 of S2:
t2 fires at some time and so S2 becomes "with problem".
I can't see S1 to become "with...
