API Zabbix Super Admin query limited?

We developed an application to query the events by Zabbix API. If this we could filter the events by severity, ACK and if is Ok or Problem.
Everything had been working well, until we tried to find out old events. We found that when an user has permission of Zabbix Super Admin, only a few events...
