    Maintenance Mode on Zabbix

    Hi

We have a working zabbix installation and it is working very well except one small flaw.
We have maintenace mode during weekends.
Maintenance mode fires up and something happens during that time.
The state of the trigger does not change after maintenace mode ends, and so zabbix does not send email about the problem since the state of the trigger has not changed.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
    Has anyone solved this (problem)?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

With the maintenance mode in active state with data collection, triggers will fire as intended. But if associated action has a "pause operations while in maintenance" option set, no escalations (including email) will be fired up.

Can you please check these two options in your maintenance and action settings?

      Hi

Thank you very much for your answer.

Yes you are correct the option "Pause operations while in maintenance" is checked and "Maintenance status not in maintenance" is also there.
I should Uncheck the option "Pause operations while in maintenance" if i understand correctly, so that when maintenace mode ends email will start rolling again. Right?

      Thank you again.

I believe yes, but honestly, haven't tested this myself yet. In your case, if you want the actions still operating, I believe you should remove both options, because both of these options are intended to suppress the action, if host is in maintenance.

The documentation articles where both of these options are described are:

I did a couple of test and checks and it worked.
The parameter that worked "Pause operations while in maintenance"

Thank you for helping resolving this issue.
