Zabbix dashboards collaboration
I (we) use Zabbix for almost two years now in our environment. And I must say, as I was a bit sceptic in the beginning, Zabbix fulfils al of our needs.
As time went by I did noticed some flaws. The biggest flaw was that there was not a decent dashboard function within Zabbix. For me the technician it was really easy to get the info I needed straight from the web console, but, for my co-workers (who don't have/had the time to fool around in Zabbix) the learning curve was too steep. That was the reason I created the trigger dashboard which you find within these forums.
Now, as I got alot of new dashing ideas, I have the time to take a new step. As a programmer noob I'm looking for skilled people who are willing to spend some spare time in creating state of the art Dashboards. Taking Zabbix to a new level.
I have noticed that there are some really nice dashboards available, but it seems, they mostly are a one man show (as it is with my own trigger dashboard project).
Therefor. Are there skilled programmers who are interested in creating dashboard (frameworks) that will put Zabbix in the place where it belongs, namely at the top
And for me, what could I bring in?
As a former professional webdesigner (with clients all over the world) and UI specialist, I can surely make a very attractive interface (in HTML, CSS and JS), converting the nice programming work into a useable end-user interface.
