I just created a wiki Page with a general howto on how to create SNMP v1 Hosts, and find relevant OIDs etc.
I also Started building up a "database" that lists

And if possible add your devices and other stuff. I had a really hard time finding out about those things and hope it helps someone.
Now next week I guess I'll be reading about how to correctly export Templates and put mine in the contrib section - but I'm pretty sure most if it is just there.
Personally I'd be interested in the MySQL SNMP options. Googled a bit and it seems possible.
also http://pgfoundry.org/projects/pgsnmpd/ looks nice. Someone did that already?
