Hi Guys,
I have an issue with email notifications, I have sat on this issue for sometime now and have missed something simple or have gone about it that hard way. I was wondering if anyone in the Zabbix community would be able to provide me with a solution to my delema, I currently have notifications for triggers and they work fine
. I now need to have a morning SYSTEM OK email generated to be sent to my boss, bellow is what I have done so far yet I cannot get an email to be fired to me.
For the example:
Is there a better (EASIER) way to do the above, thankyou for your help in advance.

I have an issue with email notifications, I have sat on this issue for sometime now and have missed something simple or have gone about it that hard way. I was wondering if anyone in the Zabbix community would be able to provide me with a solution to my delema, I currently have notifications for triggers and they work fine
. I now need to have a morning SYSTEM OK email generated to be sent to my boss, bellow is what I have done so far yet I cannot get an email to be fired to me.For the example:
- Triggers are the standard set supplied by the windows template, the template is applied to the various colo machines
- I then created a trigger which is called "OCCAM System Issues" within the Windows Template which was then applied to every windows system within the COLO, the trigger included all the other standard triggers within the windows template as dependencies of the OCCAM System Issue trigger.
ER_Template_OCCAM_Workstation:OCCAM System Issue
Depends on:
Version of zabbix_agent(d) was changed on ER-SCREEN1
Too many processes on ER-SCREEN1
Processor load is too high on ER-SCREEN1
Lack of free swap space on ER-SCREEN1
Host information was changed on ER-SCREEN1
ER-SCREEN1 has just been restarted
Low free disk space on ER-SCREEN1 volume c:
Low free disk space on ER-SCREEN1 volume d:
Lack of free memory on server ER-SCREEN1 - I then created a Action which has the following parameters- Host group = "ER_OCCAM_Workstations"
- Trigger description like "OCCAM System Issue"
- Trigger value = "FALSE"
- Time period in "1-7,08:00-08:01"
Is there a better (EASIER) way to do the above, thankyou for your help in advance.
