If you are in configuration of items and put a filter lets say for items being refreshed every 5 secs it will show all the items for all the hosts that have refresh delay of 5 secs. So far so good.
Now if you edit an item, it will move to the current host you were looking at before the item filters were put into place. So if you where looking at HOST_A and put a filter in place that shows other item keys and if you modify something from lets say HOST_B it will move to HOST_A. Yikes..
