Hi folks,
I'm having problems here with rpmbuilding the latest beta release of zabbix (beta2 as of this writing). beta1 build well while I get the following errors with beta2
+ /usr/local/lib/rpm/brp-sparc-strip-static-archive
/usr/local/bin/gstrip: /tmp/lala/zabbix-1.1-instroot/usr/local/lib/st1IaahE/libzbxcommon.a:Invalid operation
/usr/local/bin/gstrip: /tmp/lala/zabbix-1.1-instroot/usr/local/lib/stlJaqhE/libzbxcommon.a:Invalid operation
/usr/local/bin/gstrip: /tmp/lala/zabbix-1.1-instroot/usr/local/lib/styJayhE/libzbxcommon.a:Invalid operation
/usr/local/bin/gstrip: /tmp/lala/zabbix-1.1-instroot/usr/local/lib/stLJaGhE/libzbxemail.a: Invalid operation
usr/local/bin/gstrip: /tmp/lala/zabbix-1.1-instroot/usr/local/lib/sttKaqiE/libzbxdbhigh.a: Invalid operation
error: Bad exit status from /tmp/lala/rpm-tmp.4656 (%install)
The error occurs after all have been compiled without any errors and rpmbuild moved the files to the proper location for packaging and then wants to strip off (strip -g) some symbols.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Frank.
