Hi All
I am using zabbix-1.1 beta on RHEL4 , did some configuration for snmp monitoring of harddisk space
For monitoring for used/total space , I had to multiply HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed with the HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits by giving it on the “Custom multiplier” , here the Allocation Unit may not be same in all cases , in some it is 4096 , 1024 and 256 bytes , While entering this different values , I thought of suggesting for a solution in which I can have the option of giving SNMP variable or function “HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageAllocationUnits” , so that users need not search for what What allocation unit for storageSize
Thanks
Joseph
