I have a snmp V2c host derived from a template. I made a couple of OID errors as the host had several "value #2 unknow" errors listed. When I made the change in the template the status of the derived host doesn't immediatley change from "not supported" to "active". Does this take place or does every host derived from the template need to be manually updated?
I thought I read another thread that stated the host was "hard linked" to the template and changes to the template would "fall through" to the host.
By the way, this is really neat software. The granular user permissions is exactly what I was looking for that other software didn't provide. Thanks a ton!
