I am trying to upgrade from SNMP V1 to SNMP V2. I am not using any MIB file to generate the trap. I was using the following, with direct OIDs, to trigger the trap in SNMP V1:
snmptrap -v 1 -c "" 10.14.0.157 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830 BL31DL3855 6 1 1206409745 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.1 i 5805 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.2 s BL31DL3855 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.4 s "Package state change request processed - Restart package 'prov'. .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.5 i 4 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.6 s Processing alarm .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.7 s Tue Mar 25 07:19:05 2008 .1.3.6.1.4.1.3830.1.1.7.1.1.6 s standard"
Could you please suggest what all changes are required to make the above command to SNMP-V2 compliant.
