Help with interpreting an error

I am getting a lot of these in my server logs
6138:20081002:130709 Expression [{13882}=4&({13881}#1)] cannot be evaluated [Unable to get value for functionid [13882]]

can someone walk me thru what is being said here and how I figure out what is causing this error?

I have found some similar posts but they refer to a null column. That doesn't seem to apply with this error.
