I was following the manual version 1.6 and in the steps to set snmp there is a difference between what is described in the manual and whats actually there under "Create Item".
For example step 3 in the manual mentions the 'Host' field (Configuration>>Items>>Create Item) but that field is not there. In step 3 also it says set 'Status' to MONITORED, but there is no option called MONITORED.
I'm using Zabbix 1.6.
Now after creating the snmp item, how can I assign it to host to see if it works or not?
One more question
, do I have to add ALL snmp values I want to test manually as describe in the manual? Is there an easy way to configure snmp for a host than the one described in the manual?
