Grouping items and triggers across physical hosts

I'm currently monitoring two environments - one for test and one for education.

Each environment consists of several Windows servers (hosts) with a lot of items and triggers, and that is all good and normal.

However, I have one single HP-UX machine that is shared between the two environments. A lot of the items are shared between the environments as well, but certain items are specific to the test environment or the education environment.

I want to create a map for each environment, and a common map with the overall status for both test and education. But since the HP-UX is shared, an error in the test environments HP-UX processes will also make the education environment look like is has an error on the high level.

Is there a way to make a logical or virtual host, that has a subset of the items for one real host? I.e. for my purposes, make two groups of items and triggers based on one single physical host? So that I can separate the items for each environment?
