Central Server to Proxy to Node

I have requirement. I have a central server connected in one location. I can connect to data center where lot of elements to be monitored through a secured area. So it means Central Server --> Site A --> Site B.

Can I have Site A as pure proxy server. If so how do I configure.

If I have to have Site A as Node, then how do I configure
