I need someone to check our configuration of Zabbix (1.1alpha10) to make sure we have it monitoring, reporting, and emailing properly. We are not well familiar with Zabbix. We will pay for your time.
I have installed Zabbix on one Linux server to monitor only that server. I believe we installed the basic monitoring (CPU, Memory, etc) and that it seems to be working. We probably did not configure the threshold right.
Our Requirements:
- Monitor: CPU utilization, memory utilization, disk usage, apache/web uptime, Cold Fusion uptime (if possible).
- Display: availability for the above with historical trend and statistics.
- Alerting: send out an email whenever any of the above reaches certain threshold limits.
* CPU utilization (over 40%), memory utilization (over 90%), disk usage (over 85%),
* Apache/web uptime (if down for over 3 minutes), Cold Fusion uptime (if down for over 3 minutes).
- Monitor, display, and alert with threshold, for any other basic sevices.
- All other features configured to default.
