I have problem:
I need monitoring clients set and i need networks map of it.
But i can`t install to any client any monitoring softwhere.
icmpping in simlecheck does not approach becouse of blocked icmp by client
So, we use arping to monitor clients. In this case i should use user defined monitored paramets in agentd.conf on the gateway of clinets network. But. In THIS CASE i have problem in create networkmap in zabbix becouse that configuration requre choose hosts (not items) to display. And all that i have on map - one hosts - gateway of network.
I could use vpn to establish connection with gateway and zabbix server for directly monitored from zabbix server. But in this case i have problem to define arping check as simplecheck.
So - how to?
I am novise in use zabbix. Probably I do not know all opportunities of the program. I shall be glad to the help.
