DM Configuration Concept
I am a bit lost about the DM configuration for Zabbix. Say I have a master node and a child node and I have created configuration (item, template, hostgroup and host) over master node while when I login child node, I don't see those configuration that I have created over the master node. Then I have login to the master node and select the child node with the right dropdown box, no luck either, I also can't found those new configuration. I guess I have to redo that in the child node, then I select the master node from the right drop down box and then export the configuration, finally I select the child node from the right drop down box and then import those configuration. I works partially, the graph cannot be imported into the child node. In addition, the graph in the master node has been duplicated.
Below is the point that I get lost most, when I login to the child node directly, I don't see those imported configuration at all, while these configuration can be seen when I login to the master node and then select the child node using the right drop down box.
My question is How Zabbix dual with Distributed monitoring, what is the right way to synchronize configuration between child and master node?
