Using URL to Map Icons with additional Args

Hi,

I have a couple of host icons in a map. I want to assign an external URL to this icon which should open an external web application. This URL shall get HOST Information (like IP oder HOst Name) as argument.
Is this somehow possible or is there any other way to pass information of a selected host to an external application ??
