I'm quite new to ZABBIX, but until now I really like it^^
Now I wanted to setup IPMI monitoring for some servers.
It also works, but only the first value of the template I created is read out.
The other 15 values are only updated randomly.
I think this is because my servers only supports 1 LAN channel and the IPMI readings via ipmitool are very very slow, so while the first value is read out, the others get network errors, because there is already a LAN-session.
Also while ZABBIX is getting the values, I cannot send any commands to the IPMI host.
Now my question is: How can I fix this? Do I need to use some external scripts with cron-jobs like in this tutorial?
Can't ZABBIX gather the values ONCE every 3 minutes?
Because ZABBIX natively supports IPMI I would like to use the IPMI-agent instead of using external scripts.
